About Today's Coffee Taiwan
Updated · by the Today's Coffee Taiwan team
In short: Today's Coffee Taiwan is a small, independent guide to coffee you can buy in Taiwan, in English and Chinese. We help you try different coffees, find similar ones that cost less and catch real price drops. We read every listing, compare the price per 100 g and check momo prices every 3 days.
What we do
- Explain each coffee simply: how it tastes, its roast and what it's best for.
- Compare fairly: price per 100 g, per drip bag or per cup, so big and small bags can be compared.
- Track prices every 3 days: Deals shows what dropped since our last check, and "lowest price we've seen" comes from our own price history.
- Show similar coffees for less on each coffee's page, before you buy.
- Find new things: small Taiwanese roasters and coffees most people don't know yet.
How we compare coffees
- We read each listing: origin, roast, process, weight and price.
- Flavor notes come from the seller. Acidity, sweetness, body and roast on our flavor map are our estimates from those notes.
- We don't say we tasted every coffee, and we don't publish "best" lists. We show the numbers so you can decide.
- Photos marked "Illustration" are generic photos of coffee beans, not the real bag.
- Every price shows the date we checked it. The shop's page always has the final price.
How we make money
- momo links are affiliate links: when you buy through them, momo pays us a small commission (about 1–3%). It never changes your price. Buying on momo doesn't earn Beans.
- Partner roasters are small roasters who sell through our pages. You pay the roaster directly, and they ship your coffee and send the invoice ("Sold and shipped by…"). When an order made on our page is confirmed, the roaster pays us a commission. Their coffees are marked "Partner roaster", and on the home page and in the guide they appear first.
- Links to other shops, such as Costco and PX Mart, are normal links: we earn nothing from them.
- Nobody pays us to write a guide or to change a price or a flavor description.
